Vecinos de Chenkú detienen una obra con un plantón

Vecinos del fraccionamiento Residencial Chenkú realizaron un plantón ayer en la mañana para exigir la ayuda del Ayuntamiento a fin de que se detenga la instalación de una antena de telefonía celular.
Los vecinos cerraron por unos minutos la calle: “No vamos a permitir que se instale la antena”, advirtió Gabriela Lugo Fleites.
Según dijeron, las radiaciones de la antena ocasionan cáncer, dañan la salud de las mujeres embarazadas, además de que los pararrayos ocasionarán que se quemen los aparatos eléctricos.
Los vecinos recaban firmas para entregarlas al Ayuntamiento para que mande a clausurar la obra, que comenzó hace unas semanas.
Marco Antonio Bucio Fierro, representante de la constructora CICS, llegó para hablar con los manifestantes.
Luego de escuchar a los vecinos y de hacer un recorrido por la obra, indicó que a él le dijeron que ahí se construiría una piscina.
Explicó que nada más se tiene permiso para la construcción de una piscina, no para la instalación de una antena, “se está construyendo de manera ilegal”.
La maestra Gabriela Lugo, dijo que a unos metros se encuentra su escuela “Mundo Pequeñito”, por lo cual teme por la salud de los niños.”No es posible que se construya en una zona residencial”, agregó Miguel Torres.Patricia Polanco, otra de las vecinas, indicó que Mérida, está en zona de huracanes. “Si llega a haber uno, se pude caer y derrumbar las casas”. Luego de la protesta, se detuvo la obra. Aseguraron que no van a permitir que se reanude.En el terreno, está listo el colado de las bases y no hay indicios de excavaciones para la construcción de una piscina.El lugar, está totalmente bardeado.- David Chan C.
